Ashmi considers herself a creative; and abstract watercolour art is one of her many canvases. She is inspired by the Mediterranean; and the principles of flow, femininity and surrender that interplay in the process of making art.

She has showcased her work at both online and offline exhibits across Athens,London,Malta & India. Her works have been displayed at the Holy Art Gallery, House of Creativity & ArtSorbet.

In 2024, Ashmi was long-listed for the Emerging Artist Award (Visual Artists Association). In 2025, she was featured in the book, ‘Art and Woman: 100 Women Artists from Around the World ’.
